Cllr Hull statement on winner of Council Tax prize draw

Cllr Andy Hull, Islington Council's executive member for Finance and Performance, said:

“This is fantastic news for Victoria and Ed, but the scheme is good news for the council too. By signing up to pay their council tax by Direct Debit, residents can save themselves time and hassle and also save the council money, as it’s cheaper for us to process Direct Debit payments.

“We’re encouraging as many people as possible to be in with a chance of winning the prize draw and to make their lives easier by switching to Direct Debit.”
