Fabric - licence review background for issue
Format of licence review
Public meeting. First the police will explain why they have called for a review of the licence and then any other responsible authorities/interested parties who have made reps will make submissions. Then the licence holder or its representatives has an opportunity make representations. The licensing committee will then consider what decision to make.
What possible decisions could the licensing committee take?
• modify the conditions of the premises licence which includes adding new conditions
• exclude a licensable activity from the scope of the licence
• remove the designated premises supervisor
• suspend the licence for a period not exceeding three months
• revoke the licence
