Junction by-election result

James Potts has been elected as a councillor for Junction ward, following a by-election on Thursday, 28 November. 

The number of votes cast for the seven candidates was as-follows:

  • Jackson Caines – 550
  • Rebecca Jones – Liberal Democrats – 156
  • Bill Martin – The Socialist Party of Great Britain – 22
  • Devon Osborne – Green Party – 219
  • Brian Potter – Independent – 97
  • James Potts – Labour Party – 785
  • John Wilkin – Conservative Party – 113

There were 4 rejected ballots. There was a total turnout of 21.33 per cent, with 1946 votes cast.
