Junction by-election result
James Potts has been elected as a councillor for Junction ward, following a by-election on Thursday, 28 November.
The number of votes cast for the seven candidates was as-follows:
- Jackson Caines – 550
- Rebecca Jones – Liberal Democrats – 156
- Bill Martin – The Socialist Party of Great Britain – 22
- Devon Osborne – Green Party – 219
- Brian Potter – Independent – 97
- James Potts – Labour Party – 785
- John Wilkin – Conservative Party – 113
There were 4 rejected ballots. There was a total turnout of 21.33 per cent, with 1946 votes cast.
