Bob Hamlyn, headteacher of Holloway School, said: “We are all deeply shocked and saddened by the events of Friday evening.
“Alan was previously a student at Holloway School, and he is very much in our thoughts.
“He was a popular and fun-loving student, and we will be offering support to his many friends who still attend our school.
“We will continue to press home to our students the importance of keeping safe, and the dangers of knife crime.
“Our thoughts are with Alan’s family and his friends.”
