Murder investigation in Islington - council Leader's statement

Cllr Kaya Comer-Schwartz, Leader of Islington Council, said: “I’m shocked and saddened by the tragic news that a 21-year-old man has lost his life following a stabbing on Tufnell Park Road yesterday (Monday, 11 December) evening. 

“My thoughts and condolences, and those of Islington, are with their family and friends at this extremely difficult time. 

“The Metropolitan Police has launched a murder investigation and we’ll be working with them to support and reassure the local community, including by carrying out extra patrols in the area.

“If you can help with the investigation in any way, then we’d urge you to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers.”
