Statement from Cllr Shaikh on Arsenal Learning Zone

Cllr Asima Shaikh, Islington Council’s executive member for economic and community development, said:

“Making sure local people can access high quality training and education is a key part of our commitment to help find and keep a job that’s right for them.

“This new Adult Learning Zone at The Hub is a fine example of Islington Council and Arsenal working together to help residents increase their skills, build their confidence, and improve their employment prospects.

“Our free neighbourhood courses are ideal for parents returning to work, people who are long-term unemployed or preparing to go to college, and I’d urge local people to take advantage of them.”
