Murder investigation in Islington – Council Leader’s statement
Cllr Una O'Halloran, Leader of Islington Council, said: “I am deeply saddened by the tragic news that a 75-year-old man has lost his life following an assault on Seven Sisters Road late last night (Thursday, 27 February).
“My heartfelt condolences go out to the victim's family, friends, and everyone affected by this devastating incident.
“The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation. We are working closely with them to support the community and we have increased local patrols.
“If you have any information that could assist the investigation, please contact the police or Crimestoppers.”
