A man who lied to get a council home – and then tried to upgrade to a bigger one – has been sentenced following a successful prosecution by Islington Council.

The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) has awarded Islington Council the highest accreditation for housing providers in tackling domestic abuse.
